A sample matchday bringing local teams, young players and supporters together through seven-a-side football, skills sessions and a lively fan zone.

Football is at its best when everyone feels part of the day. This sample Community Football Cup imagines eight local teams sharing a seven-a-side tournament, with a welcoming programme for the friends, families and supporters around them.
Event details: a one-day community football tournament in Hong Kong. The date and venue are to be confirmed. The sample format includes a morning group stage, afternoon knockout matches and a closing presentation. All team numbers, timings and programme details below are illustrative.
The proposed matchday starts with team check-in at 8:30 am and a briefing at 9:00 am. Group matches run from 9:30 am, followed by a lunch break and a junior skills session at 12:30 pm. Knockout matches begin at 2:00 pm, with a final at 4:00 pm and a presentation at 4:45 pm.
Beyond the pitch, a fan zone would offer passing and shooting challenges, a team photo point and a place to follow the results. Short coaching sessions would give younger visitors a way to take part between matches, while shaded rest areas and water stations would make the day more comfortable for supporters.
Behind the event, the delivery plan would cover team registration, fixture planning, officials, pitch access, equipment, signage and an event-day information point. Separate arrival instructions for teams and spectators, clear match updates and a wet-weather decision process would help keep the day running smoothly.
For brands, the sample concept includes optional activity stations and shared team moments, with placements designed around the visitor experience. No clubs, sponsors, coaches or partners are confirmed for this test event.
